Faces Worth Protecting
Client:
Regional Arts Victoria (RAV), in partnership with Department of Education and Training (DET), and Creative Victoria.
Faces worth protecting is a visual arts project where students learn to create artworks that advocate for our environment, especially our endangered flora and fauna.
I created the 'Faces Worth Protecting' art course as part of the Creative Workers in Schools (CWS) program which placed 150 creatives in Victorian schools for six-month residencies to co-design arts-based projects. It supported learning across the curriculum, highlighted the value of creativity during challenging times, and fostered lasting connections between schools and the creative sector.
