White Night Shepparton & Ballarat

I was fortunate to be one of the 28 artists invited to create art installations for White Night Shepparton and Ballarat.

THE NUTS
Evoking iconic images of Australian children’s stories ‘The Nuts’ are a lovable series of giant, charismatic, inflatable gum nuts. Playfully positioned around the park the vibrant colours of these quirky characters will have you delighting in their nonsense as they serenade each other with nutty noises inspired by life in the Aussie bush.

EXTINCTION PATH
Take a wander down the ‘Extinction Path’ and discover some of the Goulbourn Valley’s most unique and vulnerable species. Can you spot the glowing eyes of the Grey-headed Flying Fox in the trees above? or the hovering Ancient Greenling Damselfly?

We are facing an extinction crisis of our wildlife and eco-systems. It is important to stop, appreciate and consider how lucky we are to have such beautiful local species that we still have an opportunity to preserve for future generations.
